2011 Easter Letter復活節信息

Dear Friends in Christ,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             April, 2011    

What does Easter mean to us  ?

Easter is a time of rejoicing, a time of reflection, a time of hope, and a time of thanks. It has been such a wonderful season to me–one of new beginnings, hope, and new life coming forth. Easter is about new life too–Jesus defeating death and offering us the opportunity for life eternal with Him.

However, to the Christian, Easter needs to be a time of great joy and enthusiasm! (Without Easter, there wouldn’t be anything worth celebrating, but because of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, we have every reason to rejoice!)

Easter is a celebration of the Resurrection–a time to focus on the extraordinary miracle of Jesus and what it means for each of us !

Mart De Hann states,   “No other event in human history is more significant. No other event is so full of immediate hope and ultimate victory for the saints in Christ Jesus.”

I pray that each of us will take a little time to thank our Lord for His awesome gift.

Let us rejoice and be glad in the victory; experiencing the true essence of Easter!

 復活節對我們的意義為何？

復活節是一個歡欣、一個反省、一個充滿希望和一個感恩的時節。對我而言，一直以來這都是一個奇妙的節期，令我感到這是新的開始、希望和新的生活會接踵而來。

無論如何，對基督徒而言，復活節是一個需要歡喜快樂和充滿熱誠的期間！(沒有復活節、就沒有值得慶祝的事；但因為耶穌基督的復活，令我們有了歡樂的因由！)

復活節是紀念主復活：這個節期我們需要集中精神去思考耶穌復活的奇異神蹟和這個神蹟對我們每一個人有何意義！

馬特漢(Mart De Hann) 曾說：「自人類有歷史以來再沒有其他事件比這一件更為特出，再沒有其他事件比這件更能令主內的聖人滿有直接的盼望和最後的勝利。」

我祈求我們各人都會用一點時間去感謝上帝給予我們這奇異的禮物。讓我們為得勝而歡欣喜樂、去感受復活節的真正含義！
